Chasing the Chase

Time’s flying. How often we’re lamenting over how fast time has flown. Someone’s garden grew thicker, someone’s children grew taller, someone’s parents got older.

We take a few steps back, look at the big picture and realise, oh, the days have changed, energy Is dwindling , sleep cycle is getting awry and yet, our chase doesn’t seem to reach the finish line.

What was the finish line? A bank balance? A family? A house? A job?

What if there was no finish line, would the chase seem smaller? Would we finally learn to live. Would we squash constructs of society to live each day pleasing our mind? Could we breathe deep enough to know exactly what our mind wants? Would we have the courage to do or say the things that would let us live in that manner? Or we’re just stuck in this cycle of life, chasing one desire after another.

Let’s start simple. Let’s know that the stairs to happiness need not have the same number of steps as everyone else. Some people can be happy in the present. If you know anyone, it’s time to learn from them, and unlearn from the rest.
